You should try for emergency appointment & should be able to get it based on approved 797.
By the way, my Canadian PR is maturing & I am asked to pay landing fee & do the medical by 1st Jan 2007. Can I pay the landing fee in time but delay the medical without compromising Canadian PR ? I want postpone my landing. Can you please share your advise ??

I'm sorry but why he did not say IV... i'm not trying to offened anybody people from all over are sending as well. it would make it better if he said the legal immigrant community

Yes, the new I-140 has the old EB3 PD on it.
So, the I-485 itself cannot be 'ported', right? Interfiling gives the benefit of having an I-140 with a higher category (here, EB2), but an older PD (from the EB3). Right?
What kind of 'delays' does the new I-485 application add? (Possibly a moot point ;)) New medicals (ouch!)? etc.? etc.?

a. Copies of all I-94 issued- I do not have copy of I-94 that was issued to me on <>Date (my first arrival in US on H1). The original I-94 was returned to airline official at the time of boarding the flight.
The following entries are in TAB format

Date of Exit mm/DD/yyyy
I-94 # NA
Copy Avail? N

I see that for EB2 the PD is 01 APR 2004 now. I want to know if I-485 approvals is linked to this PD date or they will work independent to these days.

1. My lawyer clearly said you can't, unless you file it together with AOS.
2. I765 and I131 forms. Everything else has already gone in with the AOS.
I spoke with the USICS immi officer...she mentioned that you cant apply Ead/ap without A#..they will rject it and you cant update them later with the #

I work in CA, my I140 is approved from NSC.
But the lawyer sent the 485 to TSC.
I just went over the I-485 form and it clearly says to send the I-485 employment based applications to NSC
Employment-based adjustment of status.
File all employment-based adjustment of statusapplications at the following address:
USCIS Nebraska Service CenterP.O. Box 87485Lincoln, NE 68501-7485
This includes an employment-based Form I-485filed concurrently with a Form I-140, ImmigrantPetition for Alien Worker, and an employment-based Form I-485 filed based on a pending or anapproved Form I-140.
