It can be successful only if every member understands their contribution and participation is key for this event and they are the one who can solve their immigration issue by taking this event seriously.

People carry such mindsets, it is difficult to bring about awareness and change.

They are not going to do what you tell them, 5 year is just an example, people are waiting for 9 years. I say 5 becaue even ROW is 2 year back, so asking 2 would be like take it off...

Mine reached Texas at July 3rd 9-30 a.m. it was mailed on JUNE 30th via DHL for next day delivery but as per DHL they had routing discrepancy (or my bad luck) and they delivered it on JULY 3rd instead of JULY 2nd..any one out there with JULY 3rd delivery..any updates for them..

The applications recrived at TEXAS on 1st JUN started receiving recepit notices. One of my friends checks got cleared today. :confused: As per my analysys nebraska had a 6 day lag till Jan 1st. Lets see.

Great news: IV core is supporting the flower campaign - see this thread (http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showthread.php?t=6191). :)
We have until tonight to place in the orders so that the flowers can be delivered on Tuesday.

What USCIS practise is unfair and unethical. Approving 2006 cases and leaving all those old cases is really an inhuman act.
What is the gaurantee that it will not happen to EB3 in the future? Let say in october EB3 becomes current and they start approving cases filed in 2006 and 2007 and leaving 2001, 2002 and other old cases, will you just keep quite?
Currently its happening to EB2. There's a 200% chance that it may happen to EB3 also.
So its better to fight it out collectively. There's no point in dividing the community. Just think about it.

I agree with move. I will participate. Please add EB1 also in the list. EB1 also should get the GC based on priority as the title of the thread says. Also remove the country quota. That will make it purely first come first serve basis. Everybody is treated equally irrespective of country or background.

1. "W2 Self-employed" is an oxymoron. Self-employed option is possible through 1099. You sure can be self-employed (i.e., not on a W2) with AC21 provision, as the Yates memo clearly says.

1. W2 Self Employed simply means that one has controlling equity in the employer company. For example - I am employed by corp that is, in part, owned by me since I hold a % of shares. I get paid on W2, just like any other employee in the corp.
2. Any memo (including Yates memo) supplements the existing federal regulations. They do not replace them. In any case, memo does not have force of law. In case of contradictory info, memo must "bow" to federal regulations and court rulings.
3. I-140 is for permannet and full time job only. See Page 5 of

4. Also, read this. It says 'Permanent Employment'

6. Permanent Job does not mean "forever", It simply means that duration of employment is not known. A job with 6 year contract is a temporary job (since duration is known), hence all H-1B jobs are temporary in nature and called guest workers. A permanent can be terminated at any time, at will, or as agreed notice by both parties.
7. One is not required to notify AC-21 job, but should e ready to respond to EVL RFE that can come any time.

It took more or less 30 days to process my filing, and hopefully you will see that happening as well.

i have been a active member for quite some time but i wasnt aware of the financial sacrifices IV Core team was making until I read the businessweek article. i have been contributing monthly recurring payments and one time contributions as and when necessary.
Thanks to whoever started this topic to refund some of the expenses core team has met. Thanks to IV core team for their unselfish acts and sacrifices.
i shall see if i can contribute more in the near future to this fund.

I am seeing lot of guys filed in july2nd, not many in in july3rd to july16 filer.
